Sponsor: The Sponsor of the Sweepstakes is Pineapple Hospitality Company, 155 108th Ave NE, Suite 500, Bellevue, WA, 98004, United States.
Eligibility: The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and representatives of Pineapple Hospitality Company (“Sponsor”), Nintendo of America Inc., and their parent or affiliate companies, suppliers as well as the immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of each such employee are not eligible. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited. Participation in this Sweepstakes constitutes Entrant’s (“You”) full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules. Sponsor’s decisions are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. Information submitted with an entry is subject to the Privacy Policy stated on the Pineapple Hospitality Company website. Agreement to Rules: By participating, the Entrant (“You”) agrees to be fully unconditionally bound by the Official Rules, and You represent and warrant that You meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, You agree to accept the decisions of Pineapple Hospitality Company as final and binding as it relates to the content of this Sweepstakes.
Sweepstakes Period: The Sweepstakes begins on July 11, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time ("PT") and ends on September 2, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. PT (the "Sweepstakes Period").
How to enter: During the Sweepstakes Period, enter by completing either of the following steps:
(1) Visit https://www.staypineapple.com/gotta-getaway-and-play-sweepstakes (the “Website”). Follow the links and instructions to complete and submit the registration form by providing your full legal name, email address, and zip code.
(2) Fill out an entry card in person at any Staypineapple hotel with your full legal name, email address, and zip code, and drop it in the bowl.
General Guidelines: All submissions must adhere to the following guidelines:
- Your Entry must be suitable for general audiences and not be offensive, obscene, illegal, or violate the rights of others. Any statements, remarks, claims or opinions contained or depicted in your Entry must express your honest views, opinions, findings, beliefs, and experiences.
Location to Enter Drawing: 10 hotel properties located in 7 cities in the U.S., namely: Seattle, WA – 4 hotels, Boston, MA – 1 hotel, New York, NY – 1 hotel, Portland, OR – 1 hotel, Chicago, IL – 1 hotel, San Diego, CA – 1 hotel, San Francisco, CA – 1 hotel
Prizes: Ten (10) Grand Prizes consisting of:
3-night hotel accommodations at any Staypineapple Hotel (ARV $750), with 1-year validity from issuance of hotel stay certificate and a Nintendo Switch Prize Pack that will consist of:
1 Nintendo Switch OLED Model system (ARV $349.99) + 1 download code for each of the following games:
- Mario Strikers: Battle League (ARV $59.99)
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (ARV $59.99)
- Animal Crossing: New Horizons (ARV $59.99)
Total ARV: $1,289.96 per winner,
Total ARV for 10 winners: $12,899.60
STATE AND LOCAL TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OR USE OF ANY PRIZE ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER.
No cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted except at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Limit one prize per household or address. The prize is non-transferable. All prize-related expenses, including any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of the Winner. Unless explicitly stated in the Official Rules, the Winner will be responsible for expenses including, but not limited to, spending money, meals, drinks, transport, laundry charges, activities, incidentals, taxes, gratuities, services charges, passports, visas, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs associated with redeeming their 3-night stay at a Staypineapple hotel. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by Winner is permitted. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Pineapple Hospitality Company to use Winner’s name, likeness, and entry for advertising and trade without further compensation unless prohibited by law.
Odds of winning: The odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Winner Selection and Notification: Sponsor will randomly select the potential Sweepstakes winner (“Winner”), from all eligible entries on or around September 7, 2022.
Winners will be notified via the email provided in their entry. Sponsor shall have no liability for Winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam or other security settings or for Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If the Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within five (5) calendar days from the time the award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and release if required, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate Winner selected. Receipt by the winner of the prize offered in this Sweepstakes is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY THE WINNER (AT SPONSOR’S SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN THE WINNER’S DISQUALIFICATION AS WINNER OF THE PROMOTION, AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.
Rights Granted by You: By entering any content (e.g., photo, video, text, etc.), You understand and agree that Sponsor, anyone acting on behalf of Sponsor and Sponsor’s licensees, successors, and assigns, shall have the right, where permitted by law, to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use in any media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity and throughout the World, without limitation, your entry, name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, image, statements about the Sweepstakes, and biographical information for news, publicity, information, trade, advertising, public relations, and promotional purposes, without any further compensation, notice review, or consent.
Additional Terms & Conditions: Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes should virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond Sponsor’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes. In such a case, Sponsor may select the Winner from all eligible entries received before and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Sponsor. In its sole discretion, Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or Website or violates these Official Rules. Sponsor has the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the Sweepstakes, to void entries for any reason, including, but not limited to: multiple entries from the same user from different IP addresses; multiple entries from the same computer in excess of that allowed by Sweepstakes rules; or the use of bots, macros, scripts, or other technical means for entering. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, Pineapple Hospitality Company reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of Liability: By entering, You agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) such entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes and/or his/her/their acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Sweepstakes; (v) electronic or human error in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries.
Disputes: THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND WASHINGTON STATE, WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this Sweepstakes, You agree that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in the State of Washington having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances shall You be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs. You further waive all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
Winners List: To obtain a copy of the Winner’s name or a copy of these Official Rules, mail your request along with a stamped, self-addressed envelope to Pineapple Hospitality Company, 155 108th Ave NE, Suite 500, Bellevue, WA, 98004, United States. Requests must be received no later than 10/13/2022, 5:00 PM PST.

By entering this Sweepstakes, You, the Entrant, have affirmatively reviewed, accepted, and agreed to all Official Rules.
