STAY IN FULL BLOOM AT THE PORTLAND ROSE FESTIVAL
The Portland Rose Festival, a beloved Portland tradition celebrating the city’s community and spirit, is back for 2026 — and the festivities are in full bloom!
Hotel Rose is located right across from Tom McCall Waterfront Park, putting you steps from the fun May 22-June 28 and giving you the perfect spot to recharge between events.
One of the festival’s biggest highlights is CityFair at the waterfront, featuring live entertainment, carnival rides, and delicious food. Don’t miss the America 250 Fireworks show on May 30, when the Portland skyline lights up in spectacular fashion.
Fleet Week returns June 3-7, bringing U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, and Royal Canadian Navy ships to the waterfront, with public ship tours available June 4-7.
On June 6, the Grand Floral Starlight Parade takes over the streets surrounding Hotel Rose with glowing floats, marching bands, and dazzling nighttime performances — all just steps from your stay.
Other can’t-miss events include the Dragon Boat Race at South Hawthorne Waterfront Park on June 6-7, just a 10-minute walk from Hotel Rose, plus the quirky Royal Rosarian Milk Carton Boat Race at Westmoreland Park, just a 15-minute drive away, where creative boats made entirely from recycled milk cartons hit the water.
