If you're arriving by plane from San Diego International Airport (SAN):

• Traveling by car: Head southeast on Harbor Drive, then take a left onto Broadway. Continue straight into the Gaslamp Quarter, and you’ll find Hotel Z on your right.
• Traveling via public transit: Take MTS Bus Route 992 (Airport/Downtown Shuttle) from either Terminal 1 or Terminal 2. Ride the 992 to Broadway & 5th Ave or Broadway & 6th Ave (which are close to the Gaslamp Quarter). From that stop, walk about 5 minutes to Hotel Z.

Hotel Z does not have onsite parking, but there are plenty of nearby options. We recommend Park It On Market, just a 2 minute walk away at 6th and Market Street. You can also use the SpotHero app to check prices and reserve a spot in the surrounding area.

Hotel Z does not offer shuttle service, but getting around is easy! Located in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter, you’re steps from top restaurants, nightlife, and popular attractions like Petco Park, the San Diego Convention Center, and the Balboa and Civic Theatres — so driving and parking aren’t a worry.

Hotel Z is close to several public transit options. The Gaslamp Quarter Trolley Station is just a 5-minute walk away, and nearby bus routes make it easy to explore downtown, Little Italy, Old Town, the San Diego Zoo, and Mission Valley.

San Diego International Airport (SAN) is just 3 miles from Hotel Z, about a 10-15 minute drive depending on traffic.

In consideration of all our guests, check-in is after 4:00 PM and check-out is at 12:00 PM. Hotel Z also offers guaranteed early check-in or late check-out for an additional fee. Just let us know in advance, and we'll do our best to accommodate your request based on availability.
