GETTING TO HOTEL Z
How do I get to Hotel Z?
If you're arriving by plane from San Diego International Airport (SAN):
- Traveling by car: Head southeast on Harbor Drive, then take a left onto Broadway. Continue straight into the Gaslamp Quarter, and you’ll find Hotel Z on your right.
- Traveling via public transit: Take MTS Bus Route 992 (Airport/Downtown Shuttle) from either Terminal 1 or Terminal 2. Ride the 992 to Broadway & 5th Ave or Broadway & 6th Ave (which are close to the Gaslamp Quarter). From that stop, walk about 5 minutes to Hotel Z.

Hotel Z is close to several public transit options. The Gaslamp Quarter Trolley Station is just a 5-minute walk away, and nearby bus routes make it easy to explore downtown, Little Italy, Old Town, the San Diego Zoo, and Mission Valley.
What airports are nearby?
San Diego International Airport (SAN) is just 3 miles from Hotel Z, about a 10-15 minute drive depending on traffic.

What time is check-in and check-out?
In consideration of all our guests, check-in is after 4:00 PM and check-out is at 12:00 PM. Hotel Z also offers guaranteed early check-in or late check-out for an additional fee. Just let us know in advance, and we'll do our best to accommodate your request based on availability.
Can I store my luggage before or after I check in/out?
We’d be happy to store your luggage at the front desk while you wait for your room to be ready, or after you’ve checked out if you’d like to explore a bit more before departing.
What amenities are included in my stay?
The amenities included in your stay have you covered from check-in to check-out. Start with a complimentary CORE Welcome Drink, then enjoy some Afternoon Delights of pineapple cookies and coffee. We don’t have a fitness room, but with so much to explore on foot in the Gaslamp Quarter, cardio practically comes for free.
Is there a restaurant or a bar on site?
Hotel Z doesn’t have an onsite restaurant or bar, but you’re just around the corner from plenty of delicious spots to eat, sip, and people-watch. If those emergency snack cravings hit, don’t worry — you can grab something from our Quick Bites & Bevvies anytime, day or night.
Are there ADA-friendly rooms?

When will my card be charged?
At check-in, your debit or credit card will be authorized for your room charges, taxes, and a $50 incidental hold per day of your stay. Room charges and taxes are typically processed at check-out, while any unused incidental hold may remain on your account for up to 21 days depending on your bank. If you choose our Seal the Sweet Deal rate when booking, you can lock in our lowest rates and pay the full room amount and taxes at the time of booking, so you don’t have to worry about it when you arrive.
