GETTING TO THE MAXWELL HOTEL
How do I get to The Maxwell Hotel?
If you're arriving by plane from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA):
- Traveling by car: Take SR-509/WA-509 and Hwy 99 N to Roy St, then take Mercer St to Roy St. Turn right onto Roy St, right onto Dexter Ave N, right onto Mercer St, then right onto 4th Ave N.
- Traveling via public transit (Link Light Rail): From SeaTac/Airport Station, take the 1 Line to Lynnwood City Center and exit via Westlake Station. Board the Monorail to Seattle Center, then take an 8-minute walk to the hotel via Mercer St, 3rd Ave N and Roy St.
If you're arriving by ship:
- From the Bell Street Cruise Terminal at Pier 66, head southeast on Alaskan Way, then take Elliott Wy to Cedar St. Turn right onto Cedar St, then continue on 5th Ave N to Roy St.
- From the Smith Cove Cruise Terminal at Pier 91, take the W Garfield St/Magnolia Bridge Ramp, then take Elliott Ave W and W Mercer Pl to Roy St.
Do you offer parking?
The Maxwell Hotel offers onsite underground parking for $42 + tax per night. Vehicle height is limited to 6'3".
Is there a shuttle?
The Maxwell Hotel does not offer shuttle service, but getting around is easy! We’re close to the Light Rail and Monorail stations, with nearby public transit stops and ride-share options available all day in the area — complete with convenient pick-up and drop-off right at the hotel.

The Maxwell Hotel offers convenient access to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), located about 15 miles south of Seattle Center. Other nearby airports include King County International Airport/Boeing Field (BFI) for private and regional flights, and Paine Field (PAE) in Everett for select commercial flights.

What time is check-in and check-out?
In consideration of all our guests, check-in is after 4:00 PM and check-out is at 12:00 PM. The Maxwell Hotel also offers guaranteed early check-in or late check-out for an additional fee. Just let us know in advance, and we'll do our best to accommodate your request based on availability.
Can you store my luggage before or after I check in/out?
We’d be happy to store your luggage at the front desk while you wait for your room to be ready, or after you’ve checked out if you’d like to explore a bit more before departing.
What amenities are included in my stay?
The amenities included in your stay have you covered from check-in to check-out. Start with a complimentary CORE Welcome Drink, then enjoy some Afternoon Delights of pineapple cookies and coffee. Explore the city on our Pineapple Bikes and stay hydrated with our refillable PATH water bottles. Is there a fitness center?
Our fitness center is open 24 hours a day, so you can squeeze in a workout whenever you like… unless, of course, you’d rather hit snooze and skip it.
Is there a pool?
The Maxwell Hotel has an indoor pool, open from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM. It has a max depth of 4 feet, making it the perfect place for kids to splash around — and adults can absolutely enjoy a refreshing little wade, too!
Is there a restaurant or bar on-site?
Our in-house restaurant, Pineapple Bistro & Bar, located on the first floor of The Maxwell Hotel, serves everything from tasty classics to crisp wood-fired flatbreads. Breakfast is served daily from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and dinner is served from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM Sunday-Thursday and from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM Friday-Saturday. If you need your daily dose of caffeine or a quick morning pick-me-up, Pineapple Espresso in the lobby has you covered with a selection of coffee drinks, pastries, and delicious grab-and-go breakfast and lunch options. It’s open daily from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

When will my credit card be charged?
At check-in, your debit or credit card will be authorized for your room charges, taxes, and a $50 incidental hold per day of your stay. Room charges and taxes are typically processed at check-out, while any unused incidental hold may remain on your account for up to 21 days depending on your bank. If you choose our Seal the Sweet Deal rate when booking, you can lock in our lowest rates and pay the full room amount and taxes at the time of booking, so you don’t have to worry about it when you arrive.
