GETTING TO HOTEL ROSE
How do I get to Hotel Rose?
If you're arriving by plane from Portland International Airport (PDX):
- Traveling by car: From PDX, take I-205 South to I-84 West toward downtown Portland. Continue onto I-5 South and take exit 299B toward OSMI/City Center. Turn right onto SW Naito Parkway, and another right onto SW Morrison St.
If you're arriving by Amtrak train from Union Station:
- Walking directions: Head southeast on NW Broadway and continue onto NW 6th Ave. Turn left onto SW Morrison St.
- MAX Light Rail directions: Take the Orange or Green Line and exit at Pioneer Place/SW 5th Ave. Walk south on SW 5th Ave toward SW Yamhill St, then turn left onto SW Yamhill St, then another left onto SW 1st St.
- Driving directions: Head west toward NW 6th Ave, turn left onto NW 6th Ave, then left onto NW Irving St which becomes NW 5th Ave. Take OR-99W/Pacific Hwy W to SW Morrison St.
Do you offer parking?
Hotel Rose offers onsite ground level and underground parking for $25 + tax per night. Vehicle height is limited to 6'6" in the garage and 11' on the upper level.
Is there a shuttle?
Hotel Rose does not offer shuttle service, but getting around is easy! We’re a quick 1-minute walk to the MAX Light Rail Station located on SW Yamhill & 1st Ave, with nearby bus routes and ride-share options available all day in the area — complete with convenient pick-up and drop-off right at the hotel.
Is there public transportation nearby?
Hotel Rose is conveniently located in downtown Portland, with easy access to a variety of public transportation options. Several MAX Light Rail stations are within walking distance, making it simple to get around the city. The Yamhill District Station, conveniently located within a 1-minute walk from Hotel Rose serves the Blue Line, which runs from Hilsboro to Gresham, while the Red Line connects Portland International Airport (PDX) to Beaverton.

What time is check-in and check-out?
In consideration of all our guests, check-in is after 4:00 PM and check-out is at 12:00 PM. Hotel Rose also offers guaranteed early check-in or late check-out for an additional fee. Just let us know in advance, and we'll do our best to accommodate your request based on availability.
Can you store my luggage before or after I check in/out?
We’d be happy to store your luggage at the front desk while you wait for your room to be ready, or after you’ve checked out if you’d like to explore a bit more before departing.
What amenities are included in my stay?
The amenities included in your stay have you covered from check-in to check-out. Start with a complimentary CORE Welcome Drink, then enjoy some Afternoon Delights of pineapple cookies and coffee. Our fitness center is open 24 hours a day, so you can squeeze in a workout whenever you like… unless, of course, you’d rather hit snooze and skip it.
Is there a restaurant or bar on-site?
Our in-house restaurant, Bottle + Kitchen, located on the first floor of Hotel Rose, serves a classic American menu made with locally sourced ingredients, craft cocktails, wine, and Oregon-brewed beer and cider. It’s open Wednesday to Sunday, with breakfast served from 7:00 AM until 12:00 PM and dinner from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM. We offer dry cleaning services during your stay. Pick-up is at 9:00 AM and drop-off is at 5:00 PM. Leave it to us, and consider your clothes magically refreshed.

When will my credit card be charged?
At check-in, your debit or credit card will be authorized for your room charges, taxes, and a $50 incidental hold per day of your stay. Room charges and taxes are typically processed at check-out, while any unused incidental hold may remain on your account for up to 21 days depending on your bank. If you choose our Seal the Sweet Deal rate when booking, you can lock in our lowest rates and pay the full room amount and taxes at the time of booking, so you don’t have to worry about it when you arrive.
